To pursue the long-standing tradition of UniCredit and reflect its European dimension, UniCredit Foundation offers a grant to brilliant students of UniCredit geography for a 3 month Summer Internship abroad at UniCredit.

Job description


Several positions are availbel in CFO in different countries. The focus is the contribution to the definition of Group strategic planning through the analysis of the Group’s financial structure, the definition of the strategic allocation of liquidity, the strategic positioning on financial risks, as well as the definition of the related internal transfer prices as well as designing, managing and steering Group planning and reporting processes.                                                   

End product is the release of a timely, high quality financial data set for performance analysis and business planning at Group, Divisional and Regional level.

What we expect from you


  • Attending a Bachelor or a Master's Degree - at least enrolled in the 2nd year of Bachelor
  • Availability from June 2019 for international mobility
  • Analytical skills
  • Precision and confidentiality
  • Learning agility with interest in dealing with a wide range of P&L, BS figures and KPIs across different regions/business lines
  • Strong team working attitude and capability to directly interface with senior planners
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools, with a real interest in mastering Excel
  • Experienced in cash flow modelling and pricing models with strong analytical and technical background
  • Knowledge of credit risk parameters and calculation of Expected Loss and Risk Weighted Assets calculation
  • Know How in controlling and profitability analyses, base knowledge of credit products, SAS/SQL advantage
  • Eligibility requirements according the Foundation announcement
  • If you apply in Germany, the internship has to be a mandatory part of the study plan and you will have to provide a confirmation from the university which shows that the internship is mandatory before signing the contract

You will be challenged with a valuable International Internship opportunity during the summer period, and rewarded with a grant worth € 2,100 gross of taxes (€ 700 per month) for a 3-month period of internship within the period June-September 2019. In addition, the Foundation will pay the winners a fixed amount of € 1,000 for travel, visa or any other expenses.
